Hey mates!
The seventh featured skin was a very clear decission. Browsing through the submissions of may, i first thought i had to feature my own skin "Hal's eye" but I didn't feel good featuring my own skin. So i was very happy to find Leviathan from submitted on deviatart. I already knew it from the GUIOlympics and love its features, its compact shape, its useability... so the winner was almost instantly clear to me
Anyway, here you go, have a look at the great skin Leviathan Winamp Modern Skin made by *koregraphik
Congratulations!!! Awesome skin you made there!
Authors Comments: A skin I started working on when the 2004 GUIOlympics started. I had spent about a month and a half working on it. It has been entered into the competition, but as of writting this description, I have yet to win anything (...and I doubt I will, too). Graphics and coding are by yours truly.
One thing I should note:
Soon, I will be accepting color themes from anyone that wants to submit any to me to increase the already 30+ color themes the skin ships with. The themes people submit will have to be approved by me, and will be included in an update. I will probably be accepting color themes on my forum over at my site: www.koregraphik.com/
Features:
Custom Visualization
Switch from a "normal" to a "fullscreen" visualization.
Skin Configuration
Toggle certain visual elements on or off.
Smooth Transition Play-Pause
Play button fades to Pause, or vice-versa, depending on what the player is currently doing (Stopped, Playing or Paused).
Glow Effect
When on, if you mouse-over the buttons in the main player, the display and orb-like buttons will glow.
Video Window Display Bar
Exclusive to koregraphik.com skins, this bar, located below the video area in the video window, displays the video's playback-related information (name, fps, etc.). Also, if the user chooses, they could toggle the bar's visibility.
Customizable Buttons
The two buttons on the right of the player, which by default open the Playlist and Media Library, can be customized to open something else. Just give either one a right click.
There's also an Easter Egg included with the skin, which I won't really say much for, except that it involves a certain key combination followed by a click.

How are skins getting featured?
In the end of every month i'll have a look at every skinsubmission that was done in this month and pick the best FINISHED i can find. With finished i don't mean that everything has to be skinned, i only mean, that the skin mustn't be in betastate anymore.
please tell me if you don't want your skin getting featured.

Me around the net
There are several places around the web where you can find (and buy) some of my work, which is mostly photography atm.
My blog: Creative thoughts... - not selling any stuff here
My logodesigns: Portfolio - not selling any stuff directly
BrandCrowd: Selling high quality logos here
theLogoMix: Various logodesigns for sale
Twitter: rontz (https://www.deviantart.com/rontz) - not selling any stuff here
flickr: rontz-design - not selling any stuff here
DeviantArt: All my DA-prints in one spot
500px: Selling some photos - I suggest buying prints elsewhere, as there are no size- or pricing-options which results in high print prices
ARTFLAKES: Selling some photos as print
Mac Icons
Hey everybody!
I finally converted most of my Glass-Icons to Mac-format.
At least those of which I think they are usefull for the mac.
But since I'm already annoyed by thinking about uploading all those icons here on DevArt at once, I've uploaded them to my Webspace and will include the Icons on DevArt later bit by bit.
You can find them here so long: http://www.rontz-design.de/images/Aqua_glass_icons_by_rontz-for_Mac.sitx
LINK IS WORKING NOW! but I had no other choice than making it a download (1.5 mb)!
it's a sitx, you can uncompress it with stuffit expander.
I was told that the .sitx-file made StuffIt Expander crash for some people
New Google Wave Beta Accounts - Giveaway! 8 left!
Hey guys,
got some new Google Wave Beta Account invitations left, 8 at the moment.
If you want to get one, please send me a note with your mailadress.
Don't get nervous if it doesn't arrive immediately, Google says following:
"Invite others to Google Wave
Google Wave is more fun when you have others to wave with, so please nominate people you would like to add. Keep in mind that this is a preview so it could be a bit rocky at times.
Invitations will not be sent immediately. We have a lot of stamps to lick.
Happy waving! "
You have no idea what Google Wave is? Check this out: http://www.google.com/support/wave/bin/topic.py?hl=en&topic
